Homeopathy Vindicated?
Nobel scientist discovers scientific basis for homeopathy
For all of us that have a belief in homeopathy it would appear that our beliefs are vindicated. An article on wddty.com quoting from the Sunday Times and the British Medical Association states that no less an authority than Nobel prize-winning scientist Professor Luc Montagnier, the French virologist who won the Nobel prize for discovering a link between HIV and AIDS, has discovered that water actually does have a memory that continues even after many dilutions. The whole foundation and premise of homeopathy.
This news comes in the same week (1st week of July 2010) that doctors at a conference of the British Medical Association described homeopathy as ‘nonsense on stilts’ and passed a resolution to stop homeopathy being made available on the National Health Service. Something of an embarrassment to them I would imagine!
Professor Montagnier has discovered that solutions containing the DNA of viruses and bacteria “could emit low frequency radio waves”. These waves influence molecules around them, and turn them into organised structures. These molecules in turn can emit waves. He has discovered that the waves remain in the water, even after it has been diluted many times.
I doubt very much that anyone would wish to cast aspersions upon the work of such an eminent scientist. And I for one look forward to homeopathy being taken seriously, as it should be, in the future.
